Just a warning.. awhile ago my sis was playing with my gerbils and she gave them a fax tube. My chubby Kippy chewed on it, and then (naturally) tried to climb through it. She wedged herself in and further in, and suddenly went limp.
My sister panicked, and tried to pull it out, but she was afraid of breaking it. (The gerbil, not the tube) So she yelled for me and I came running and I was so scared I pulled the gerbil and she came out of the tube, and she was fine. (RELIEF!!) I don't know if she was actually stuck.. her paws were outside the tube and her head was inside.
Fax tubes are evil. Poor Kippy, no wonder she is nippy! ;)
