I presume you are referring to fading yellow (symbol f).

The reference you need is:

Two new colour varieties of the guinea pig, Wright S, 1923, Amer Nat,
vol 57, p42-51

f appears very similar to ck, but fades as the animal ages. Heterzygotes
are slightly affected.

This came from Comparative Genetics of Coat Colour in Mammals by Searle,
but he writes little more than I have said here so the source he cites
would seem the best source for more info.
