treats

My sister is now hell-bent on spoiling Spoo rotten, and was experimenting
with different treats.  What kind of treats are acceptable to feed
gerbils?  Spoo's liked carrots and bananas but not much else... what
fruits/veggies/bird treats are safe to give gerbils?
