hi,
i have been breeding gerbils for a good few years now,along with hamsters,
mice and rats. i think it helps that i work part time in a pet shop. the
majority of my gerbils i keep, but as i have over 50 gerbils quite a few do
go to the pet shop! i do insist on one condition when i sell my gerbies and
that is that they go in pairs or small groups. i do hate to see a lonely
gerbil, although i do have one at home- a stray, who will not tolerate any
other gerbil. i live in west yorks and am well know in my town, for taking
in unwanted rodents! my most recent purchaes of breeding stock, some pied
siamese and DTWs were advertised in LOOT magazine.

Myself and my partner have just started breeding (Our first pair have been
going at it like little rabbits after only a week!), I've been keeping
gerbils for 5 years but this is my first attempt at breeding...
It would be handy to have local people who could offer tips for where to get
and sell stock.
