About the gerbil colors.... I have already been studying the websites with all of the color pictures. I just do not have confidence in my own judgement yet. I could post a link to the yahoo club where this gerbil photo can be found if that is ok. Or, for those who wish to investigate, the name of the yahoo club is "gerbillovers". Just a club on yahoo for pet owners of gerbils. The picture is found in the club photos section, in the album titled ~~~*PICTURE CONTEST*~~~ . the photo is titled "Twinle and Toes" , although the owner told me she meant to say Twinkle and Toes. Can Siamese appear silver? The owner told me that the people who sold her the gerbils called them silverbacks, but I have not found such a reference in the color palettes on web sites. They almost look siamese, with spotting. Anyone who is familiar with yahoo clubs please take a look if you have time.
