Hi all-- Our new gerbil, who is one month old, spent yesterday chewing off part of her tail. She was a Christmas gift from friends who breed, and has been very socialized. The only thing I can think of is that she might be stressed out going from living with her litter to living in a cage by herself, which led to stress tail-chewing? She seems fine now, but what can we do to avoid the problem in the future? Thanks, Jamie
