I wouldn't recommend it...perhaps for now separate the
gerbils out into two colonies - male and female, then
try and find mates for them after that.  Once they're
old enough to wean.  I don't know what the shipping
rules are within Italy - in Canada you can only ship
live animals via Air Canada and it's very expensive
(comparable to a person flying AirCanada).  Keep
searching for them - try contacting the French Gerbil
Association http://www.gerbille.org/ or the National
Gerbil Org based in the UK
http://www.rodent.demon.co.uk/ or the Swedish
http://gerbilclub.com or Finnish
http://www.gerbiiliyhdistys.fi/ or the Northern Gerbil
Federation http://medley8.tripod.com/ You could try
putting advertisements online looking for gerbils in
any of the online buy/sell communities for Italy.  Ask
petstores and leave your name and number for if they
