Anyone with any views as to why we should not go to Topica? Feel free to register at Topica and have a look around. I prefer it over Yahoo because it is more straightforward and seems to work more reliably, and with less obtrusive advertising etc. I also find the interface faster to use and they do a good job of keeping moderators etc up-to-date with developments. BTW, there is a digest version of Topica Mailing lists. You set it in your options at the Topica website. > >I mostly stay on the list because I maintain the FAQ (for loose definitions >of maintain), and since I frequently delete most post unread, I would not >make a good moderator, IMO. I for one would appreciate your experience, especially if something happens to me and I am forced to drop out the more veterans we can have around the better. Maybe if you are unable to, is Karin still subscribed? She was here at the beginning. Ehrenfried goes back a long way also. I would really welcome some more discussion of this as I would like an organised and orderly transfer to a new list to keep the period when messages are appearing in two places to a minimum. -- Julian [EMAIL PROTECTED] National Gerbil Society http://www.gerbils.co.uk/
