I bought a big runaround ball for hamsters at my local foodstore (that's all they had). My gerbils like to run in it (one gerbil at a time), but it leaves gerbil terds all over the house. I noticed that the pet stores sell smaller sized runaround balls-do these keep the gerbil debris contained better than the larger hamster runaround balls?
