> My male, 2 1/2 old seems to have lost half a back toe. He was bleeding the other night and his foot was swollen. By yesterday, his foot looked better, even earlier today. Now it's bleeding again. I took him out and cleaned the foot. One half a toe looks missing and the back of the foot looks bruised. He is in the cage with one male cagemate. I haven't seen them fighting. What should I do:leave them together, remove one, keep an eye out. What could have caused this? He is getting around, eating, chewing, doesn't seem to be afraid. Any ideas?
