ANYWAY, my little gerbil Percil has some nasty nose problem. It is bald. It is scabby. It is ITCHY, and he gets really upset when I get anywhere near him with polysporoin. I don't know if I should take him to the vet, or just keep up with the polysporin, but it gets all bloody when he scratches at it (Not blood coming OT of the nose.. he rips the scabs right off..) I can send a picture if it woule be helpful. I consider myself pretty gerbil knowledgeable, but this problem has me confused!
