Hello!

Maybe a little late, but this is to announce that gerbv has been herded
closer to the gpl eda family. Maybe most of you have already seen all
the mail floating by on this mailing list.

The website has moved to gerbv.gpleda.org, which from now on is the
official one.

For source code management we have now abandoned the CVS servers of
Sourceforge and completely switched to git at git.gpleda.org. This is
probably the biggest switch for developers of gerbv, so please be
patient with our ignorance as we get up to speed. At the same time the
development model of gerbv will change slightly, mostly due to the
powerful tool git is. More on that later.

The system for bug reports, support requests, patches and feature
requests will still use the Sourceforge site. So will the mailing lists.
So no change there.

A well, Dan managed to release gerbv-2.3.0 just before the move. Many
thanks to Dan, a proper announcement on the usual channels should be
done "any day now". It was the Windows version that really needed a new
release, since we started to get bug reports on stuff already solved.

Best regards and happy hacking,
/Stefan
