Folks,
It is way too early to talk of a (internal) component design. Refactor to it later. Or enable all visions, again later. Working code that passes unit tests is far more important.

I think you are right.
Either JMX or Avalon, it is born after a successful project, the fomer one is born after JBoss.
If this project comply with JMX, it may looks like JBoss.
