The point is that beta 10 and RC1 both use the same directory, so I wouldn't be surprised if things have gotten a bit confused. Renaming or removing it should basically start you off from fresh.

OK I don't know why you're seeing that, but try this anyway:
1) remove /home/wmprice/.maven (in case there's a conflict between the RC1 and beta 10 stuff) 2) Do a fresh checkout of geronimo from CVS
and try again, just in case something's gone 'screwy'.
I'll set up a page on the Wiki so we can start documenting these things.
