I do not get the point of this patch. We do not need to change the LogFactory
to set the impl class.

What new functionality does this provide?

        Key: GERONIMO-31
    Summary: Specialized LogFactory
       Type: New Feature

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Minor

 Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: Unknown

    Project: Apache Geronimo
 Components:
             common

Description:
Replacement for org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory. It defaults
to creating org.apache.log4j.Logger objects, wrapped in
org.apache.geronimo.common.log.log4j.CachingLog4jLog objects.

I've added common-logging.properties files where appropriate to utilize this
factory in geronimo.
