That's the first and only time I've ever seen it to be honest. As I said in another posting, it downloaded fine later, so I guess it was a problem with the stream itself. When it *was* causing problems, I tried it again on my other PC (same get_iplayer build 2.83, but under XP on a Dell desktop) with the same Windows crash alert. It does sound as if the OP (chrisjbrady) is having all sorts of problems with get_iplayer from his other postings! I'll let you know if I do see any more errors, but generally GP "simply works" in my case.
