Hello I am not a regular user of Windows any version. I have get_iplayer-2.95 installed on Windows 10 on a toshiba laptop.
I have noticed yesterday and today that podcasts are not being refreshed. the podcast.cache file is basically empty except for the field header line. I have verified that the get_iplayer.pl and get-iplayer on Devuan Linux are the same source. podcast refresh works on MacOSX and Linux. Not on Windows 10. the log file for Linux contains: INFO: Search args: '.*' INFO: Got 27054 file cache entries for podcast INFO: Getting podcast Index Feeds INFO: Getting page http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts.opml .INFO: Getting page https://podcasts.files.bbci.co.uk/p02nrtyg.rss .DEBUG: Getting podcast feed https://podcasts.files.bbci.co.uk/p02nrvjf.rss INFO: Getting page https://podcasts.files.bbci.co.uk/p02nrvjf.rss .INFO: Got 5 programmes the log file for Windows contains: INFO: Search args: '.*'^M INFO: Got 0 file cache entries for podcast^M INFO: Getting podcast Index Feeds^M INFO: Getting page http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts.opml^M INFO: Getting page https://podcasts.files.bbci.co.uk/p02nrtyg.rss^M INFO: Getting page https://podcasts.files.bbci.co.uk/p02nrvjf.rss^M INFO: Getting page https://podcasts.files.bbci.co.uk/p02r4zfx.rss^M INFO: Getting page https://podcasts.files.bbci.co.uk/p02nrv1j.rss^M INFO: Getting page https://podcasts.files.bbci.co.uk/p02nrw8h.rss^M INFO: Getting page https://podcasts.files.bbci.co.uk/p02nrsj8.rss^M When I copy the linux podcast.cache file to Windows-10 and update the podcast.cache is overwritten with an empty file.
