Hiya, There is a branch of the PloneGetPaid product that includes work on making the integration of the offsite processors (paypal, GC) easy, and even lets you give the user option between those and your onsite processor.
There are several available processors and there are also some new ones that show how it is done with the new interface in branch (mainly affects integrating offsite processors). Brandon Rhodes created documentation about how to integrate a payment processor in the branch also. I'm sure he'd love any feedback on it! (he's on his honeymoon now but back soon!) Good luck!
