I got the same error as you got so I tried opening them with
RB5.5.5 instead and there I got a dialog that is looking for the
external item MBSPluginRegistration Class. I suspect that the
problem is we both have unregistered versions of Christian's
plugins and the missing external class causes a problem with
RB2005r4. I have the MBS plugins but I have never actually used
them for anything other than experimentation with the different
functions. If I actually needed and were using them for a finished
app I would register them.
You should probably email Christian and ask him if there is a way
for you to evaluate these apps without the external Registration
class.

Network Screenshot. I am using RealBasic 2005 release 4.
