Steve,

If you mean the .rbp file, I've never been able to get it to save anywhere else.
Of course, I have to save the project file before I compile, otherwise
Build doesn't know where it lives.
Here's what RB seems to do, I've discovered (and it makes sense). RB saves the .exe file in the same directory as the .rbp file, _if_ there is one, and in the same directory as RB itself if no .rbp file has yet been saved.

By the way, here's the background on what I';m working on, in case you're interested. I'm putting free movies (they're available for free at http://emol.org/emclub/?q=freemoviesindex) on a CD with an auto-load menu program written in RB. It works great!

This is the first stop toward possible publication of a RB "diskazine" or "magazine-on-disk" for Windows friends. The neat thing about RB is that people don't need to install any software in order to make use of such a CD. Just put the CD in the CD player, choose a (public domain) film, and enjoy!

P.S. Right now I'm writing individual menu programs for each CD collection/selection of movies, but I'll probably re-write the menu program so that it will automatically put the movie titles in a list box and letting users choose from that. (It will check for .wmv files, for instance, and then for Night_of_the_Living_Dead.wmv will display "Night of the Living Dead" as an item in the list box.) Is this fun or what?
