Ok, first off I did NOT know RB had a built in check mark option.
Second, Jack has been very helpful in showing me how to create a checkmark
in a listbox. I, on the other hand am having troubles understanding how to
use it correctly.
Third, if there is some simple code to show me how to get it started I be
grateful.

It's funny how the Listbox function does
not have a CHECKMARK option included.
I believe you know that CellType adds check boxes to cells in ListBoxes.
These check boxes look nice and, I believe, show the standard images for
check boxes on any OS that they're running on. Not sure why you're choosing
to not use them, but I know make a lot of requests here that make no sense
to others, too.
So, just making sure that you *do* know that this is built into RB as well
as all the functionality you might expect. If you do already know this, I
must be misunderstanding the comment above.
As far as I know, the only functionality that's not built into RB's CellType
is the ability to show mixed states. This usually shows as a grayed or
dimmed check box. It shows that some, but not all, the options have been
set for the information associated with a given check box.
I added this functionality myself by making a checkbox image and using it as
the RowPicture for each row that needed one and then changing the RowPicture
as needed to reflect the different states.
Perhaps you can use RowPicture to do what you're trying to do and if you
only need the check at the beginning of the row.
