I would like to be able to show all of the running applications on
OSX in a list in my application, much like the top command in UNIX
or the Activity Monitor application distributed by Apple. But there
is also a second part to it - I need to see if certain windows or
files are open in the running applications.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could do this? Would
it even be possible to see what files are open in another application?
I think that the shell command lsof will list all open files.
