Yes, as I pointed out, and Terry described in much more detail, when you get a "new date"
it is initialized to the current system date.

Your code changes the day in seven (6) (now different) instances of date. date1 and date7 will carry the year and month you intend, I think, relative to "PeriodEnding". date2 through date6, however, will have the month and year relative to the current date. This could lead to very strange results, that will show up if you test your code with a date outside of the current month.
