This is just a guess, but I think that Apple just faked a Macintosh
Window for iTunes on Windows OS. They created their own titlebar,
buttons, menus in a frameless window... all of which would normally
be handled by the OS. This includes moving the window when the user
clicks on the titlebar and other niceties that you don't think about.
As a result, I hear that most Windows users do not like the interface
for iTunes since it is so different than everything else... but since
it is Apple and a free program, they can get away with bucking the
system.
