you can try this doco:

or do a search for http rfc or something :)

then, use the http socket AuthenticationRequired,HeadersReceived, SetRequestHeader to handle it, i don't think there is built in support for basic authentication in the realbasic httpsocket. Then set your soap object (soapmethod.usesocket) to use that httpsocket.
