DrawInto is for when you want a picture of the control


The containerControl contains only StaticText objects, so plain
drawing should do.

Again, my goal is to put many similar labels on a (printed) page.
Using container control seemed to me to be easy and flexible way how
to achieve this.


But why not use EmbedWithin as I said in my first reply? With EmbedWithin you can create multiple instances of your ContainerControl?
