I have looked into this, and this happens to me if the built app moves. Lets say if it is usually icon number 3 row 2 in finder. When I re-build and it changes position and the space (3,2) becomes empty. It never fails then the Icon is generic, if the icon stays in 3,2 it will have it's icon back.

But renaming the app always works. This seems to be more of a Finder bug than RB bug.

Rename the app, and the icons re-appears, then rename it back.

Works 100%

I compiled my application URL Keeper as a Universal Binary application for the first time today

and I am getting the generic icon instead of my application's icon

yes I checked to make sure I had a icon in the app class
and a creator code (I am on a Mac)

I even tried taking the .app out and putting it back

I can't seem to get my custom icon to appear
