I have fixed that by using -fno-inline (the source of the problem was that the compiler wanted to use rep stosl in asinh and atanh for some reason). Another gcc-3.3 feature: Code noop ( $804E5F0 ) add ebx , # 4 \ $83 $C3 $4 ( $804E5F3 ) mov eax , dword ptr FC [ebx] \ $8B $43 $FC ( $804E5F6 ) jmp eax \ $FF $E0 For comparison, here's the gcc-2.95 compiled version: Code noop ( $804A656 ) add ebx , # 4 \ $83 $C3 $4 ( $804A659 ) jmp dword ptr FC [ebx] \ $FF $63 $FC No significant speed difference on the Pentium 4 (with --no-dynamic). - anton --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
