Unless you also see new wrong behaviour in cases apart from the MIDI stuff, I doubt that there is a new bug in the code (the code for KEY?-FILE is just a stripped-down version of the old code). The changes might make an existing bug (in the MIDI driver or in our code) more obvious. > BTW: The C version works fine.
