Ciao a Tutti,
innanzitutto... mi sono imbattuto in questo browser mentre cercavo esempi
di WEBGIS ("efficienza energetica, fotovoltaico, fonti rinnovabili..."
specialmente nel campo dell'edilizia... A proposito... se avete qualche
esempio da consigliare...). Per questo non conosco nulla del progetto, sui
piani di sviluppo, release ecc...
Come già detto, al momento sto provando il "portable" e già solo il fatto
che mi permetta di rinominare uno shapefile non è male! ;-)
Le lingue disponibili dovrebbero essere quelle elencate nell'ABOUT e cioé
quelle tradotte dai volenterosi che elenco:
* André Mano (Portuguese)
* Maxim Dubinin, Dmitry Baryshnikov (Russian)
* Miguel Sevilla-Callejo (Spain)
* Jan Helebrant (Czech)
Se non sbaglio, ci dovrebbe essere anche una versione per UBUNTU... (NON
provata: al momento il nostro pc di test è in fase di trasloco):
"You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted
PPA by adding ppa:bishop-gis/wxgis to your system's Software Sources".
Per quanto riguarda le funzionalità, ve le elenco (prese tali e quali dalla
barra dei menu):
* Menu File: create folder
* Menu Edit: select all
* Menu View: refresh, statusbar, toolbars, toolbars customize
* Menu Go: go une up level
* Menu Tools: Options (general and miscellaneous tab)
* Menu Windows: Show/hide tree panel, Show/hide toolbox panel
* Menu Help: About
** Tasto dx del mouse: rename, disconnect folder, refresh, create new
folder, properties
** Tasto dx del mouse su un layer geografico: cut, copy, delete, rename,
properties (display esteso: interessante...)
A proposito di properties: se il layer è raster, posso creare Overview e
Statistics (se mancanti...)
Ovviamente, selezionanto un layer è possibile visualizzare il suo preview
sia geografico che tabellare....
Nella barra dei bottoni e degli strumenti, oltre a zoom in e zoom out, c'e'
il full extent, l'identify ed il pan. E' anche possibile ruotare il map
frame ed impostare delle scale. Oltre a questo c'e' un "customize" che
permette di aggiungere altri "toolbar/menu"...
Nella sezione toolbox ci sono strumenti base di "geoprocessing"...
