Hi! Brian implemented the GGIFLAGS_TIDYBUF in the X-target this night (CET).
I run libggi's demo w/o setting this flag and got this: Trying mode F1.[] Suggested mode 1152x768.V1152x768.F1.D1x1.[C24/32] Visual size is 389 mm x 259 mm (0 means unknown) white=16777215 black=0 Puts(): 1286 strings CrossBlit(): 427 blits DrawBox(): 4116 boxes DrawLine(): 4524 lines CopyBox(): 507 boxes Then I enabled this flag and got this: Trying mode F1.[] Suggested mode 1152x768.V1152x768.F1.D1x1.[C24/32] Visual size is 389 mm x 259 mm (0 means unknown) white=16777215 black=0 Puts(): 1273 strings CrossBlit(): 306 blits DrawBox(): 4363 boxes DrawLine(): 4220 lines CopyBox(): 499 boxes Conclusion: The feature, that was thought to be a speed up is nothing but a nice hack... (sorry brian). Brian: It seems, some more analyzing and profiling needs to be done to get it to real speed... -- CU, Christoph Egger E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] +++ GMX - Mail, Messaging & more http://www.gmx.net +++ NEU: Mit GMX ins Internet.
