Hi,
for a while i have been occasionally browsing the issue tracker of GHC,
wondering if i might be able to get involved.
Today I finally decided to just try it, by picking an issue labeled
`newcomer` and spelunking through the code, until i felt like i
understood just enough, to hopefully submit a helpful patch.
Please approve the user `Kato-Dax`.
