Hi,
as mentioned before, this error message indicates, that your simulation
reached the maximum number of delta-cycles in the same current time, i.e.
your simulation "hangs".
So, with the option "--stop-delta=N" you can set (and increase) the number
of delta-cycles N. But this may only delay the occurrence of the error. To
fix that error, you have to fix an endless loop within your simulation
code...
Kind regards,
Clemens
Hi,
usually this mean that the simulation has stopped after N delta cycles
given by the option "--stop-delta=N"
If you however did not provide any stop-delta I don't know what the
cause might be.
However I am not entirely sure how many delta-cycles will be run if
stop-delta is not set. Maybe it is limited through maxint?
Regards
Alex

Hi,
I have a build a simulation linked with some C files. These C files
represent a blackboard, which means I am reading and writing values in
the simulation to the C blackboard by calling it's methods via
vhpidirect. From time to time I get an error and the simulation stops:
simulation stopped by --stop-delta
What does this error exactly mean? Has anyone else got this error and
perhaps has a hint for a solution?
Greetings Markus
PS: I am using Ubuntu10.04 LTS.
