For reference, hg pull (where the earlier clone was) would have simply
pulled the necessary changes. And Tristan's been busy again so there are
more today...

Since you are now our FreeBSD expert, ... care to get yourself a
SourceForge username and let us know it? I'll add you as a developer
(unless Tristan or David beat me to it!)
Then you can(a) document our process or better (b) add your port to our
Files section.
(SourceForge is supposed to point the Download button to a designated
file, based on OS. If it supports *bsd, then I'll see if I can set that
bit up when you're done)
