I am looking for information regarding the GHDL Waveform (GHW) format
that you have devised for use in GHDL.
As can be seen in the GTKwave manual, an implementation and interface
for manipulating GHW data is part of the source code. According to the
manual, you are the author of the GHW-relevant code in GTKwave (please
correct if I'm wrong). Specifically, files ghwlib.c and ghwlib.h in
the GTKwave source code, provide the necessary functionality for
working with GHW. However, I wasn't able to locate a reference grammar
for GHW, e.g. one that would be BNF/EBNF or yacc-like grammar.
Does such grammar exist? Is there any additional information on GHW
that would help derive such grammar?
