0.29 ought to work though.
Can you find a "ghdl1" executable anywhere in your installation?
("ghdl" is just the compiler driver : ghdl1 is the compiler itself,
like
/opt/gcc4_8_2/bin/gcc
and
/opt/gcc4_8_2/libexec/gcc/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/4.8.2/cc1
for compiling C on my system...
If it's there, and in the right place, does that place have execute
permissions?
