Hello,
is 0.32 the correct number? The current development version is 0.33; or do you
use some kind of backport strategy?
IMO 0.32 is correct, and this is my fault.
At one stage I branched the trunk to an 0.32 branch, tagged it as
0.32rc1, and it stalled there.
I have long been meaning (especially with the recent really significant
bug fixes) to update that branch to the tip, call it 0.32rc2 and ask
"the usual suspects" to report any build problems, with the intent to
release 0.32 *with* the latest 2008 support.
If Tristan does it, at least we know it'll happen!
Tristan, please don't hold back for fear of stepping on "my turf" - I
have no right to hold up progress! I have been out of it for so long
that it would take me a day or two simply to get back into the build
cycle.
Patrick, thanks for the reports and contributions re: Windows building.
And to all : my apologies for my inaction. At some stage I do hope to
re-join and contribute, but I've been focussing on other things this
summer.
Thank you for the past efforts. I will try to do my best for the
release, but volunteers are always welcome.
Tristan.
