Personally, CVS has made my life easier; no
need to sort out patch sets, and after the
working directory is in place, there are not
so vast amount of deltas that a refresh takes
any longer than 10-15 minutes (36K connection).
Plus, you can diff against earlier versions to
better track on-going code catastrophes ;).
