Hi, your idea sounds interesting. Do you know our [GIMP UI brainstorm]? Some ideas to that issue are already there but yours would surely be a good addition. So feel free to post it (the procedure is described there) and I hope, our interaction architect Peter Sikking will find it useful and share it there.
