I was just informed that the page I linked to does not have the link to the actual plug-in. You
can download the plug-in using this link: http://khk.net/download/gimp-color-manager-0.0.7.tar.gz
(the download link is actually on my Gimp page, which is linked to on the navigation links left
of the text).

Sorry about that,

A few years ago I took a stab at a color management plug-in for the Gimp. Unfortunately this
project is at the bottom of my priority list, so I have not updated it in a long time. If somebody
is looking for ideas, this would be a good place to start:

It's based on LCMS and can use embedded ICC profiles (stored as parasite).

Hi all,

The requested feature is a plug-in which encapsulates the
behaviour of the ICC, that is does colour conversions. This would
get us a long way towards CMYK support in 2.0, as well as
removing the need for custom colour transform code in lots of
places in the core. Of couyrse, without the ability in a
GimpImage to store and access CLYK natively, we're not going to
have native support for multiple colourspaces, but this is a
decent start for save routines, for example.

Definitely needs some coding (and some ideas) soon otherwise it's
definitely getting bumped.

Cheers,
Dave.
