CinePaint has made no changes to GIMP file formats. Those modifications
predate our involvement, came from the GIMP HOLLYWOOD branch CVS in 2002
used to create Film Gimp 0.1. You should be able to figure out who
extended/broke your file formats by researching your own CVS changelogs.
