allowing comments (with moderation... like most blogs) on http://gimp-brainstorm.blogspot.com/ will be a good start. the wiki of the GIMP UI redesign team is closed, so the blog above should be the public face* of this redesign process. *that's what I was suggesting a new mailing list; because both the blog and wiki are virtually closed to "outsiders"...
