*OK, maybe i should think about something smaller before trying to tackle opentype features and text for now :) Smaller and bigger at the same way.
I've wished for a long time gimp had the concept of projects - * a set of related resources such as fonts, brushes * tool settings and other presets * default image folders for open/save/import/export * possibly, ability to have multiple pejects open at the same time, each with its own SWM with toolbox, but maybe that's too big a change. So this could add, File->Project * New * Open * Save * Save As... New would offer to take the current settings and make them into a project. Opening a project would load settings and resources (brushes, fonts, palettes, etc) from the project folder. File->import would import an image in any format into a project (xcf, jpeg....) and of course file->export would work as now. File->Project->save would save all open images in the project as well as the project file. File->Open would open project files by default, or xcf files, or offer to create a project containing the opened file It would be possible to have multiple projects open at the same time. Evantually, maybe, using an asset from one project in another project might copy the asset automatically. Eventualy, maybe each project would have its own tabbed single window mode.
