Personally, I'm pretty cool with GiMP's UI. I know where just about everything is and I know where to find what I'm looking for. I don't see anything wrong with it. And after playing with the single window interface for a bit, I went back to multiple windows. I like multiple windows... works great for multiple monitors or for making the most of smaller displays. And if someone comes in and says "it should be more like..." I'm just going shake my head. I don't know photoshop all that well. When I tried to use it, it simply lacked the usability I have with GiMP. Photoshop's UI, therefore, sucks. How do you like them apples? And seriously, what's with the way Photoshop does layers? When I create a new layer, I want control over the size, shape, color and all that. Sorry... didn't mean to make this into a rant against Photoshop... but isn't "good" relative to expectations and familiarity? -- erroneus (via gimpusers.com) _______________________________________________ gimp-user-list mailing list gimp-user-list@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user-list
