When I click-drag to select an area with the Crop tool, it now selects away
from where I drag, instead of selecting the direction I drag. (I cropped a
couple images and got the standard behavior, but with the third I get this
crazy behavior even if I reboot or try another image.)

I couldn't google a fix. Various "inverse" settings don't resolve this.
I'm not an advanced Gimp user, but most of the hundreds of operations I've
done with Gimp have simply involved the Crop tool, so it is something I
know how to use.
