I didn't have problem to use GEGL operation with a self compiled gimp 2.6.6 (build following the Gimp-wiki tut ,BTW thank to whoever update that page)
Instead Crash occurred always with a previous versio nof Gimp 2.6.6 installed using the official installer. this on Win XP updated to SP3 No problems even with my previous version of Gimp 2.6.5 (note : i do not consider " problems" rare occasional crashes when experimenting unknown functions with random setting.
