I wasn't clear in my first post -- Environment: GIMP 2.6.6; Windows 2000 After File -> New to create an image, Filters -> Alpha to Logo -> (all grayed out)
But File -> Create -> Logos -> Text Circle works fine. So I raised a false alarm about Logos -> Text Circle but Filters -> Alpha to Logo are all grayed out. Sorry for the confusion.
