There is a small rectangle ...
This is a known bug of gdyntext. Please upgrade to the newest gimp
(1.1.23) or start it with
LC_NUMERIC=C gimp
gdyntext uses the locale (de in your case) for numeric data and confuses
the plug-in protocol.
