Simple googling for git+suse [1] turns up a page on rpmfind.net [2] dedicated to builds of fresh versions of Git for various RPM-based distros, including SUSE. The next link, [3], leads to a page which looks like an official registry of packages available for SUSE [4], which has Git listed and available for SUSE 11; it links to RPM packages built for Git 1.9.1. Is this enough for a start? 1. https://www.google.com/search?q=git+suse 2. http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=git-core 3. http://en.opensuse.org/Git 4. http://software.opensuse.org/package/git -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Git for human beings" group.
