'git_stats' sounds like a local script.
Can you include the script itself?
What's it meant to do?
Was it written locally, or part of another package?

I am trying to collect git_stats over my GIT Repository by executing the
following command:
git_stats generate --path=</path/to/git/repo/.git/> --out-path=./gs
However, after executing for 2-3 minutes the tool returns Fatal Out of
Memory Error.
Is this a known issue?
Is there a way I can increase this size?
